Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the PGDM-RM because there is a huge growth in this industry and I wanted to work in retail so thought to take admission in Retail Management. Faculty and students ratios is good because on the basis of subject students will get read from the industry experts ad well. Most of the faculties are PhD holders and having the corporate experience. There is an trimester system in Jims so basically, In three months students need to give exams (end terms) in between mid term will also be there.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Hitachi, ABFRL, HDFC Etc for the MT or intern with the stipend of rs 10000/ 8000 . It may vary according to the company. Students get the chance to dothe live project as well .

Placement Experience

In the 4th trimester students will be eligible for the placements Airtel, Deloitte, Aditya Birla , Landmark Group, MRF, HDFC, Yes Bank, JK Papers, Amazon, ICICI etc. All papers should clear, back should not be there. Wanted to be placed in good organization and I got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every student calculate the ROI while investing so definitely I would say it is worth to invest this much of amount I got an Summer internship in Hitachi with the stipend of Rs. 8000/- on. And placement in Landmark Group with the package of 4.5 lakh. Pa.

Campus Life

Campus and Social life is extremely good , Students enjoy this life because of fests clubs and all. VERVE is one of the fest conducted in the month of Dec or Feb. Thousands of books are available in Jims. Table, Chair, fan , Ac , Projector, Newspaper etc. Are available in the classrooms

Hostel Facilities

AC, Fan ,Box bed, Table, Chair and Almirah will be available Menu will be decided on the basis of students taste and preferences. And quality of food is excellent. It is situated in good locality and its nearby the college.

Interview Experience

Yes, I have given the entrance exam and Group Discussion /Personal Interview for the admission. In the GD topic will be on the current situation or trend like demonetization etc.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Good opportunity in JIMS

I applied for Rajagiri in Kerala and got into it, then was waiting for MHCET but the results kept on getting delayed, then I also got into JIMS, BIMTECH as well but due to budgetary issues and placements the best option was JIMS. I wanted to get into symbiosis but my Snap score wasn't that great. NMAT also my marks were good but not that good for taking admissions in top 3 colleges of narsee munji. The admission process of JIMS is very simple, you just have to apply through their website and pay the application fees, then you will get the mail for documents such as 10th, 12th marksheet, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/SNAP (whichever is applicable), graduation certificate/degree, work experience certificate(in case), copy of application form and admit card for Campus tour, GD, PI process which happens on 1 day. For those living in Delhi and NCR can go and visit the campus for these process , and for those outside of DELHI NCR can give the process online. Within 2-3 days you will get the mail for the results. Then after few weeks you will have to pay 1st installment fees to secure you seat in that course....Read More

I got admission to 2 colleges IITM Janakpuri and Jims Rohini, and I opted for Jims because of the ranking + placement records, and more profound environment like it's known for PGDM so that alumnus is also very good. Which we can reach out to in future for professional guidance. I didn't get rejected as I only applied for 3-5 but 3 in which I didn't get admit is because their cutoff of IPUCET is 600-700 and my score is 1005.
