A detailed review for the first years at SJC

St Joseph's College Bangalore is very famous and is over 130 years old . Obviously anybody would like to join such a prestigious college. Since due to the lockdown we are currently having online classes. Professor's are well known with the subject they are dealing with. I don't really know about the selection process in offline mode but the lockdown worsened it even more. We had an online interview and I did clear that. Plus the college is filled with a humongous amount of activities, clubs and plenty of fun. Anybody joining this college will have a lot of fun and that's for sure..

I love electronics , things go really soon into my head . Teaching faculty is very confident in what they convey and have answers to our questions in the very moment we ask them. Again since it's a online class we don't know exactly how many students are there . But the combined strength of electronics students from all the classes for the first sem is around 150 students. Online exams are very tough because they have to prepare question paper in such a way so that students don't cheat . But still we don't want such tough paper but we don't have any choice either (all in MCQ type). Only thing that I didn't like was the CIA(combined internal assessment). In offline mode we have a different pattern but online things are different and difficult. Hope I get to see the college soon.

There are a ton of placement opportunities for us. Since I'm first year student I don't really know about it . Sorry about it. But there are my ex-seniors who have said that the placement is really very nice.

The fee structure is quite reasonable for the course that I have chosen. Since I'am in the first year I have no idea about the job in campus. But there are a ton of scholarships . I don't avail those because I'am from the general category, but sc/st people can avail those . After all it's a college and for learning there are tons and tons of opportunities. Any door you choose you will have only the knowledge in it.

I haven't still seen the campus . But through the videos what I've seen on my whatsapp college group it's the same in the youtube channel too. There are a ton means a hell lot of events , activities , clubs . Still I have to see them personally . Library and and classrooms have to be explored .

Yes. But not the group discussion. I don't really know about the offline interview ,but in the online mode there is no group discussion. I had to undergo through two interviews and with the interviewer. Interview was pretty simple .
