Sydenham College is the most prestigious, well known commerce college in India located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is very close to my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing my graduation in banking and insurance sector(BBI). Banks plays a vital role in today's world. There are many career option. This make me choose this course. About faculty : Professor, HOD and other faculties are quite good, understanding .As this is govt college u will face some issue in management.(sometimes). This course last for 3 years with 6 semesters. It is easy not too difficult course if u attend all the lecture u don't need to take any other classes for this.

Course Fees: INR 350 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google, Mahindra ,ICICI bank, pnb bank, HDFC bank ,Ernst and young, pseu education and many other Banks and financial companies.

Placement Experience

Placement are organized after sem 5 . But the one can join the company after completing the graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around 16k to 18k every year. They offer scholarship to the reserved quota. Also the placement cell of Sydenham College provide you the opportunity to internship or part time job .

BMCC college provide the internship as well as placements to the interested students. Average package in BMCC college your can expect 4 lpa and the highest can go up to 7 lakhs. Looking at the current scenario in the market placements are okay in BMCC college. But still it can be improved college needs to get more well known reputated companies also they should make sure to get a good job role for the students.

Placement Experience:

WWI has a Placement Cells that keeps a track on opportunities for students. There is a mandatory internship that students need to complete after completion of sem 4 before sem 5 is commenced. Students can also get internships in the winter break during sem5. There are various live projects that students can work on depending on their interests and experience during the academic year. Final Placement opportunities are posted to students during sem 6 where students need to list themselves and let the cell know about their interests and priorities.

My experience about my college

Before 2024,there were no cet's or entrance tests for the admission but since 2024 there is an entrance test you have to pass to take admission in this college.
