Remarks
College is good and giving quality education. Somethings i want to point out are teachers should be more involved in activities, food should get better and fee is little bit on higher side. If they can work on it. It really is a good college.
Entrance Preview
I got here through my IIT MAINS marks, i couldnt crack IIT advance and thn i had the options to use my iit mains marks to get a good college and i applied for counseling and i got the college i wanted as it was reffered by a friend. I got 134 in IIT mains.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose mechanical as was my dream from a long time. I enjoyed physics. And i was really happy when i saw how great mechanical is here. There is no shortage of anything. We have labs that are no way backwards in any term and the subject is taught in a very good way.
Internships Opportunities
My internship experience was good. I got internship in infosys. General stipened offer is 15-20k. Infosys, wipro, hcl, mahindra and a lot of other reputable companies came for internship.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good if you are good. If you have good grades and you are confident then u ll get a good job. Few years back Google recruited a student from our college for 87 lakh per annum. HCl, facebook, Google, infosys, wipro to name a few. Generally packages are 6 lakh per annum but it all depends on the student.
College Events
We have lot of college fests concerning different subjects. Techtrishna is the inter college technical fest. Our annual fest is called Vibrations. All India Ajay Kumar Garg Memorial Table Tennis Tournament in association with Ghaziabad District Table Tennis Association. This tournament is of national level. Level from all corners of India come to play here and we have many other small festivals too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is bit on expensive side. Middle class people can afford it and if someone is poor there is scholarship from government. Its around 1,10,000 to 1,30,000 and hostel fee is extra. Total hostel fee is around 90,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are lot of facilities given by our college. They help students in getting loans at low interest rates. They give scholarship for deserving students. Students that excel in studies or particular sports.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is on lower side. But it is better than other colleges. Campus life is awesome here. We have so many extracurricular activities, parties and many workshops to participate. We have different societies like Goonj. I am part of this. We have no discrimination whatsoever and we have students from different part of our country. We have debates, art competition, singing and others.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Infrastructure is good, there is wifi facility. But food is not up to the level. This is one of tge thing that they should improve. Its not tasty and lot of students tend to eat somewhere else. There are lot if seats in hostels but if someone want to live in pg. There are many pgs near the hostel and the prices are not too high. U can get a nice pg in 4-5k.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are really helpful. They are fun but when we need there help. They always help us from there experience. Alumni network is great we celebrate get together of different times from time to time.
Exam Structure
Exam structure like many other engineering college is hectic. This is one thing i want to point out that there is less time for learning and a lot of exams.
Faculty
The faculty is really good and educated but there is one thing that they do not take interest in every student. They teach well but only to those who go to them and ask things.
