Good College for Good Learners

TNPCEE, The reason I chose is that the college is located very close to my home town and the institution has a very good reputation in the locality. They have been in the education service for over 50 years and has created lot many engineers and entrepreneurs. Its a ISO 9001 certified institution and has highly qualified and experience faculty for Mechanical Engineering.

No the college did not had any internship during my course period and I am not sure if it is being offered now. However the college has tie up with reputed organizations for doing the projects however there was no stipend

College organizes a placement fair every year. Reputed companies like HCL, FLSmith, HP, Congnizant, TCS, Infosys, Hexaware etc are participating in the placement drive and students are being offered a minimum of Rs.3,00,000 and upto Rs.4,50,000 per annum.

The college conducts annual symposium in which students from more than 20 colleges across the state participate and share the ideas and knowledge. The college also conducts an Alumni meet every year in which the old students share their knowledge about the industry and share the experience and help the students get themselves updated and groomed as per the industry's requirement

Fee structure is very reasonable. They don't charge anything other than the University approved Fees. Only during the first year you will be charged an additional Rs.3500/- towards textbook just to avoid students finding it difficult to source the textbooks in first year. From second year onwards you can buy your books by yourself or you can utilize the library which has over 30000 books

I have not availed any scholarship. However I know that few of my friends have got scholarships based on their marks they scored in the SSC examinations. However you need to consistently maintain 65% and above to avail the facility throughout your education

When it comes to extra curricular I would give 9 out of 10 to the college. The college doesn't just focus on making the students score marks but they mould the students. They create engineers. The college has a Personality Development Department that focuses only on how to mould the students as per the Industry requirements. This helps the students in facing the campus interviews and their participation in symposiums and other workshops. The college also conducts a sports meet every year which encourages the students to participate in events like Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis, badminton etc.

Men's Hostel is just average. The rooms have an average comfort for stay. However the mess food is really decent. However if you are a girl the hostel facility is really good and you get a tasty food and be assured the Women's hostel is very safe with rou

In addition to the annual Alumni meet, seniors who have left the college several years before love to visit the college atleast once in year and they share their industry experience with the students and help them understand what the industry expects

Common Internal Assessment (CIA) tests happens once in 2 months to assess how good the students are with the chapters they have learned so far. Practical lab tests happens thrice in the last month of the semester and before the semester examinations.
