Entrance Preview
I got 168 marks in jee mains i didnt got any good reputed clg in the counselling held by jee, and i didnt wait for the last additional counselling , so i finally decided to take admission in amity as i wanted to stay in delhi for future preparation of upsc. I applied in amity university through me jee mains exam and also through my board exam. I got a call from them that i have been selected for direct admission with a scholarship for my good performance in jee mains. There is also a interview if u are not having a good score.
Internships Opportunities
I am a 1st year student so i dont have knowledge about this but as far i know for internship there is no stipend , you will get marks for doing internship in vacations.
Placement Experience
Placement is awesome in amity. All the major companies like google , flipkart, amazon, snapdeal come here and for this year still the placement is on and the highest package for now is 21 lakhs.
College Events
College holds many fets whether it would be the tech fest where students show their tech projects and talent. Cultural fests are also held like yuphoria where students enjoy a lot.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Amity is very much expensive, for a course which i pursue i.e. b.tech , my fee is 1,34,000 per semester and 65,000 for hostel excluding mess, as there is a system of paid mess where you pay only what you eat.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are a good student you will surely get a scholarship like if you have scored 80% or more you will get 50% scholarship for 1st sem and if you score more than 9 gp in 1st sem you will get it extended and so on.
Campus Life
There is no place for discrimination, ragging or any issue in the campus, all the students are very friendly, no ragging at all. You will find rich children studying here a lot but that will not affect you if you are here to study.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are average, the non ac rooms are not very much well maintained, you will not get separate bathroom if you get a room in basement, you have to use common bathrooms. Water coolers are installed in each floor so water is not an issue. Security wise also its good.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very much supportive, they tell me about the placements of college, its far better than any other college,this college just lacks in environment for study , rest it is ok.
Exam Structure
You will be chilled out in this field, they will not put so much of pressure marking is not very tough, little bit of study can do the trick as compared to universities like uptu, amity's exam structure is good.
Faculty
Faculties in amity are very much awesome, no doubt , they are very much experienced and they teach very nicely maintaining the standards. You can get all the courses here in amity.
