Experience of college life

Hostel rules and life was really worst.and academics are very tough as relative grading is taken even.but college lokks good and hygenic.Amrita University focuses more on academics and gives terribly less importance to extra curricular activities. If you wish to 'enjoy' your four years of engineering, this is certainly not the right place. Extremely strict attendance pattern, average placements, good teachers, and ﾑjail-likeﾒ hostel regulations is whatﾒs waiting for you at Amrita University, Bangalore.

AIEEE(Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination) admissions are taken in counseling process.so many students will attend to counseling./heavy competation from andra praesh.each state had got thier own quota(limit).only limited seats are available .so,should get good rank. i had scored 1545 rank in aeee2015. i opted for discipline and good study

Good course but huge efforts needed.Academic schedule: 6 hours of classes per day, 3 quizzes, 2 periodical tests per semester. Assignments: virtually non-existent. Not a lot of choice in choosing courses. Teaching quality and methodology not up to the mark. Need to focus more on "Learning by doing".

Expensive some what-around 10 lakhs for 4 years including hostel.student loans are given but only a bank named dhanalakshmi is present inside the college which provied loan facilities.ot is somwhat bearable for bangalore people but not for everyone.Amrita provides hostel facility for both boys and girls but not at all upto the mark. The 10 storey hostel building charges Rs. 75,000 per annum including mess food while the other charges Rs. 50,000 per year.

Not so good-should adjust some what.and many akward rules in hostel,strict outing times and gatepasses.its not flexible system.Students have to follow a dress code at Amrita University. Peach colour checks shirt and a similar colour pant. Girls have to wear a jacket as well. Every student has around 2 to 3 pairs of uniform.

Yeah,a lot.they will help a lot in every aspect. so many clubs are there, they will help in extra circular activites much .we should have intrest and time to join them and gain knowledge in so many aspects.

Comfortable single seater benches, decent classrooms without an air conditioner and well equipped library with truckload of books of latest edition are the facilities offered by this university.

Highly experienced staff. Tests were conducted frequently. Quality of examinations was high. Professors were available for guidance at any time.
