The college had great reviews and the alumni base talks about the college in high regards. Amazing faculty along with industry exposure provides holistic development to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses offered are varied and the structure is designed according to the current trends. The course outline is constantly updated. The faculty is a mix of academicians, PHDs and corporate experience holders.

Internships Opportunities

The SIPs offered are great and the 2nd year students help guide the 1 years in many ways with a good connection with a lot of companies, the students are well placed for summer internships.

Companies start coming from the middle of August and the placement process is smooth. We get 100% placement record.

There are scholarships offered to deserving students. The scholarships are provided on the base of merit.

GIM: The college that never sleeps.

Placement Experience:

In the first year, students are eligible for summer internship placements from the first term onwards. Decent number of companies visit the campus and offer roles across various domains. The placement committee provides good placement support.

Beyond the Campus Gates of GIM

Placement Experience:

The placement record has been 100% for years now. The SIP process begins in the first year and final placement process starts in the early-middle of second year. The highest package went upto 55 Lacs last year, lowest was around 12 Lacs. I plan to take direct placement from the college and start my corporate career.

Great platform to transform yourself

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good and faculties are also very qualified. I choose BDA because of its value in the market and my interest area. BDA of GIM is even beating it's flagship course in terms of placements. But the thing is you have to come prepared before coming to B-School. In term-1, there will be basic subjects only but companies coming for summer internship will expect more from you. So, my advice would be to invest the time students get in between admission in B-School and joining the B-School in improving their skills sets.

College way to enter in professional world.

Remarks:

Goa university department of management and studies is very good college for the student who was polish there knowledge through help of faculties who are expertise in there own field. It definitely help to grain more knowledge and improvements of skill but only major thing issue is of placement. There has been not proper placement over the years which should be given priority and introduction of new companies for placement should be brought. Also campus should be focused more and should be improve to some extent.

Great Curriculum! Amazing College!

Entrance Preview:

XAT - 99 percentile. This was the best one that got converted for me in the first attempt. Was wait listed in the other. Given its a tier 1 college with good curriculum & great placement, so it was a no brainer hence went ahead

I had given the CAT examination and scored 95.36 percentile. There is no sectional cutoff for this college. 80 is the cutoff for cat. Beyond the Campus Gates of GIM

Steps of admission process were as follows: 1. Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor's Degree 2. Clear cutoff of CAT(approx 85%ile)/XAT(approx 80%ile)/GMAT/CMAT respectively (any one is enough) *They also have an Achiever's Round 3. Shortlisting based on overall academic background 4. Written Ability Test (WAT) - Basic opinion on some random topic is asked, fully proctored 5. Online Interview - Checks basic intellect, general awareness, concept clarity 6. Admission Letter ALL THE NECESSARY DETAILS RELATED TO THE ADMISSION PROCESS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF GIM In my opinion, the selection process is rigourous enough, I was asked only relevant questions and tasks to do throughout. It sufficiently checked my academic rigor and general awareness along with basic communiaction skills. The admission process was smooth. The application fees and all other details were available on the official site of the college. The college doesn't provide any reservation benefits.
