GIM houses a diverse pool of students from different backgrounds, regions apart from plain academics. The admission usually takes place vis two ways - Achievers' round and regular process. I had applied for both and based on my profile I was fortunate enough to be called into the former process. While searching for an MBA college, collegedunia was the most visited website for me. I gathered ample information about colleges and relevant information which finally helped me zero-in on GIM.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is noteworthy and pushes students to bring out their best. Accordingly, faculty members are knowledgeable and friendly in their approach. The pedagogy is highly student-friendly and is updated as and when required. Exams or evaluation is carried out in every class/session for each subject. There are multiple other ways of evaluation other than plain exams which include quizzes, report writings, video makings, etc. All of this provides students with a higher learning curve and makes them competent to pass in the exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are various projects and internship options offered by the college. One has to be active and prompt to be able to get through the same.
Placement Experience
Placement reports on the college website are likely to provide the same information. One can look into the same and draw necessary information.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is in line with the services provided by the college. Although a few might find it on the higher end, compared to the quality of education the college provides, it is worth considering. Students can avail scholarships under 3 schemes, by meeting the required eligibility criteria.
Campus Life
Classes are being conducted online as of now. It is difficult to comment on on-campus life. However, the clubs are organizing online competitions and events to keep the vibe going.
Interview Experience
Yes, there were 4 rounds - 1. Group interview 2. Group Discussion 3. Written Ability Test 4. PI. I prepared for the interview from various youtube channels and by discussing on forums.
