Remarks
GIM is one of the very few management schools which do profile-based shortlisting via Achievers Round. Achievers Round was the first and foremost point of attraction for me. Having heard about how the institute is completely student-run excited me even further as I have been handling student affairs at the undergraduate level too. GIM boasts of having more than 20 student-run clubs and societies which further enticed me to be part of this wonderful institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
Even while studying through the online mode, each and every faculty of ours made sure that we get exactly the same experience as we would have got if we were on campus. By effectively using the latest technology and tools, we hardly found any difference, at least from the learning point of view.
Internships Opportunities
The placement team at GIM provides placement support for first-year students to explore the industry and apply for the organizations according to their specialization. All specialization attracts equal opportunities and students can make the choice about the domain they want to work in during the summers.
Placement Experience
A supportive placement office is very important for a business school. And placement office and a team of GIM works round the clock to ensure every student gets an opportunity to apply their learnings from the course in the outside world. Placement supported is provided for Summer Internships and Final Placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Despite being one of the premium business schools, the cost of study GIM is very affordable. Being a bad year financially for a lot of students, the institute stood by its student and were as flexible as an institute can get in terms of fee payment.
Campus Life
The institute has 24 clubs which makes life at GIM intense, insightful and rewarding. Samridhi is the flagship event of the institute which attracts participation from the whole country and is held in the month of November. Moreover, leaders from all walks of life visit GIM to give their insights and provide valuable knowledge and insights.
Hostel Facilities
As the course requires a lot of work outside the classroom, hostels of GIM make a life for a student very comfortable. GIM has one of the best student mess which provides good quality, tasty and nutritious food.
Interview Experience
I went through the Achievers Round, where candidates are called to the campus for the process based on their profiles. The process kicked off with a brief discussion with the Director of the institute and then was followed by Group Discussion where the given topic was 'Artificial Intelligence is a blessing or a bane.
