Course structure is in line with other universities and there is a lot of scope given to research and projects. This college had dual specialization and they make you study almost all papers. There elections for various office bearers and the whole process would be like general elections.It is very interesting. There are also exhibitions and other initiatives by the management which engages the students.

It is a ladies college. There are a lot of workshops and cultural programs conducted during the course of the year. Also music festivals were also conducted. Cases of discrimination are dealt with severity and explanations were sought. There are a lot of competitions and there is a fair chance for each student to participate.

Facility is good and food is healthy(I am not sure now as it is almost quite a lot of time since I passed out). Staying inside the hostel is quite good. If you are from nearby place, you might not get admission easily as you can also travel by train/bus. There are a lot of PGs nearby which are quite good and they offer all facilities at a price in premium.

Seniors are quite good and helpful. They will also help you in giving study materials and books. Aluminis meet once a year and it is a grand event.

Yes, there are a lot of lab sessions and if you prepare in advance, there are no issues. There are model exams and tests before quarterly, half yearly and annual exams. If you prepare continuously, then there is no need to get panic during examination days. Also, 70% attendance is mandatory to pass exams. This has been created so that students attend classes regularly.

Standards are pretty high as the college has hired 70% of them who have experience in teaching in similar institutions. Faculties will go to any extreme to teach you through experiences and practical sessions. I still have high regards for certain faculties like the HOD of Computer Science department(Ms. Padmavathy mam).
