Got seat through govt quota. The institution bags rank for civil and environmental engineering. The reason i opted EC is because of my interest in particular field and finally my selection of this particular course provided me the satisfactory result.

Course follows vtu scheme not as good as any autonomous institution. The EC department organizes the branch fest called as e manthana and provides the opportunities to participate in various technical quizes, present the paper etc. Hod allows the final year students to participates in various National and state level project expo, workshops, seminar etc.

No internship is provided at UG level from institution.but they allow students to take internship in companies such as BSNL upon their own intreast. Internship are provided at PG level.

Placements for 2015 to 2016 was outstanding only because of the dean.Most of the students from various branches got placed in Capgemini, TCS, L&T, infotech and various startup companies. But to attend placements one has to register them self by paying 8k and attending the human resource training.

The institution celebrates chunchana fest in the month of march April every year.all the students and faculty eagerly waits for the event and actively participates in all the events.The fest involves fashion competition, singing competition, dance etc.

The account section makes the student cry to provide the scolarship amount and treats students very badly.the college charges unnecessary fees.on top of these VTU university earns the moneys in crore by failing the students and earning by rv results.

I dnt availed any scholarship so have no knowledge about it.backward classes are provided scholarship. And meritorious students are provided with attractive cash prizes

Campus is certified with ISO 9001 2008 and campus is located on small hill which provides the nice panoramic view of nature.campus is good with nice infrastructure, seminar halls are air conditioned, smart classes.The institution organizes the project exhibition for final sem students where students with duly support from faculty emerges out with outstanding and innovative ideas.The institution organizes ethnic day for final year students where malnad girls and boys come up with their traditional looks.

Girls hostel is safe which is located outside the campus and near to chikmagaluru police station.boys hostel have 2 buildings one for juniors freshers and other for seniors.The junior fresher hostel is well maintained and food is preety good. The mess provides ragi mudde, boiled eggs and all and sunday special includes both veg and non veg.

Seniors are not so helpful north Indians and south Indians makes the group of themselves. Seniors are helpful during fest and extra circular activities rather than in studies.

The faculty provide 4 internals for students to obtain average in their internals.But some of the faculty having grudge on students dont give internal marks and black mail students that they will detain them.The external and lab exams will be strict.

The faculty is average. Assistant professors are good compared to some of senior professors. Some of the professors really teach well to the core of the subject but some of them just want to finish the portion.Faculty provides the notes which makes the student to study only at the time of internals.some of institution in Bangalore provides education is systematic manner like student prepares their own notes by accessing to different books in library, providing seminars on various recent topics.All these lacks in this institution.
