Remarks

I would say that my college is definitely ranked among one of the best colleges in my state . The college management is pretty student friendly and helpful too .

Course Curriculum Overview

When I chose biotechnology as the subject of main interest , chemistry and microbiology came in as compulsory subjects along with languages . The coaching was pretty good and very easy to understand as the teachers were highly trained profeesionals with lot of experience. The focused on every nook and corner of the subject rather than questions important for just pass. There was a few industries and workshop visits where we were provided opportunities to enhance our knowledge on practical education

Placement Experience

4

Many companies related to pharmacy and bio engineering were there to choose from in the placement season . Students were also given the opportunity to intern for esteemed companies . For the placement, they conducted few interviews to examine our knowledge on the topics and subjects and asked about our ambition and expected salary . The college took steps to make sure students won't be much uncomfortable during the interview by giving us a detailed explanation of what we could expect.

College Events

4

Our college always make sure to arrange big scale activities for sports or cultural festivals . For events such as these students from many different colleges are invited to participate to win prizes in different competitions. Our college usually held around at least 5 such activities per year where every student was given a chance to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When it comes to fees ,mine was very cheap compared to others . The college accepted the fees in the form of DD or cheque. I did not have to pay anything extra to secure an admission to my course. And the college were willing to negotiate with fees issue if the student's parents were unable to pay to completely

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship or educational loan since it wasn't necessary for me. But yes , the college did offer those too . At the beginning of the year the students could apply for a scholarship on the college website which rewarded them with 15000 rupees if they passed the syllabus.

Campus Life

The campus was very friendly and ideal for students. When it comes to gender ratio in my class there was about 25 male Students along with 45 female students. The labs were very well maintained. There was no lack for any type of extracurricular activities such as competition, debates or college fests . The students too were matured and welcomed all type of students ignoring their race, religions or gender . Most of the students got along well and continued to have a good relation till the end .

Hostel Facilities

Yes I had opted for a hostel to avoid travelling everyday to attend the college. Since there are a lot of students who live in PG and hostels, usually 2 students are couped in a room. The hostels take care of breakfast and dinner too. Most of the PG around here cost somewhere around 20000 . Almost all of the hostels are very well maintained and provide a environment ideal for a student.

Alumni/Alumna

Though everyone thought the alumni students to be bit scarry they were extremely friendly with us as their junior. They offered me advice and help whenever I asked about how to improve my personal record and education too . They help me improve a lot during the time I was their junior .

Admission

I was interested in the foundation of human bodies right from beginning. This institution is very well known across Bangalore and close to my house. For admission there was not much of a hassle since the minimum requirements was just 65%. First after submitting the results of 12th along with admission form they take some time to look into everything and after few days they contacted me and called me in for a interview. during the interview, they asked about why I chose this college and course, what was ambition etc. After that they asked me to pay the fees so that I could get my admission completed.

Faculty

4

Almost all of the faculty teachers were highly trained profeesionals who have gained experience in their respective fields . For my course there were a total of 11 teachers . Most of the teachers were aged around 30-45 and completed at least M.Sc for their degree. They made sure that all the topics of the subject were understandable for the students too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
