A reliable college

Management was quite good. There was a proper arrangements for every thing for example the well organized library , the cooperative store , the sports complex, the parking slots , etc.

The course was of 4 years duration which had to be executed full time subdivided into 8 semesters whose sessional and semester exams were conducted in every 6 months. Further I would call it a fair as the exams only had focused on one objective of getting promotion to next semester.It has made me develop some good knowledge based on my subjects , the faculty with it's best to serve us with examples and showcase in the technical labs. Also several industrial visits were scheduled to let us know about the various industrial manufacturing and management processes. We were taken to VE Commercial Vehicles and Jash Engineering Works , Indore.

Placements for the mechanical and automobile engineering is conducted by either VOLTAS , Endurance (through BAJA) , while they are also open to other opportunities like TCS , Infosys , Byjus , etc. Recruitment process involves the briefing about the company in auditorium followed by the written aptitude test and then a Group Discussion is generally held to select the candidates for the technical interview. The tentative percentage would be 30-35 percentage in average getting placed every year with majority from branches like Textile , Computer Science, IT etc.

College conducts various fests in large numbers so as to develop the all round learning skills in every individual. It also includes the children upto 12th class from various schools to participate in various exhibition models and debate programs. There is also a sports meet conducted each year , I too volunteered and participated in Table Tennis. Every year a techno cultural fest is organised and it goes on for around 3 days followed by a DJ night.

Fee structure was feasible in our batch but it has increased a lot now. There's no additional fees in between, just you have to pay the exam fees , other than semester fees that's all. Yes there's full transparency in fee structure. You will be getting the fee structure of all 4 years along with the placement fees mentioned.

Yes it does offer scholarships to the students based on categories and there's also a trust scholarship to the general students of around 6000 a year. The eligibility for the trust scholarship includes 75 percent attendance throughout the semester and minimum of 7.0 CGPA in previous semester.

Gender ratios was like 150:4 for mechanical and automobile combined. The workshops were conducted by various Institutes and companies. The Institute kept a same view for all of the education seekers with no difference based on financial income , colour , race , religion , sexual orientation etc.

Yes I lived in a private hostel near to the college. Although the college has its own hostel facility in the middle of the city , supported by a bus facility to the college. Some of my friends who lived in there were more time bound.

Yes they are helpful with the very experience they can share. Few of my seniors were constantly guiding me for the full utilisation of the time and the obtaining the relevant industry level skills whether it be in designing or maintenance fields.

JEE MAINS entrance exam was conducted for admission into all national and state level engineering colleges. It was conducted by CBSE soon after the 12th Board exams got over i.e. on 4th April 2015. The results of the exam were declared on 27th April. Those who qualified the category based cutoff were eligible for JEE Advance exam. A state common merit list was revealed based on the normalisation of marks obtained in 12th boards and JEE MAINS exam in 40:60 ratio. After which a state level counseling was conducted for admission into B.E/B.Tech full time courses and I did choice filling in the preferences I wished for the streams. A college is allotted to the candidate as the result of counselling process and I had been allotted to SVITS Indore. There's a chance of upgrading based on your seats allotment. Then we had to report to the institute in some specified time and after depositing a semester fee , admission was made successful.

The faculties are well furnished with knowledge and experience of teaching for over 10-15 years or even more. They supplied the subject matter more closely in whatever classes that were organised throughout the academics. Yes , few of them held industry level experiences and certifications.
