Remarks

As bharuch has numerous chemical industries around it.and I wanted to study chemical engineering so I selected this college. And as I love chemistry I decided to study chemical engineering from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is on point except for the first year.the first year curriculum is wayward. The course curriculum is getting updated every 5-10 years like that. Yes there were many industrial visits so we got enough industrial exposure.the senior most faculty members are very experienced and has good industrial and theoretical knowledge but new faculty members are not on the point. Some faculty members also lack subject knowledge. Mr Alpesh rana and prof Arun Patel has quite good knowledge and personality.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11600 per year

Internships Opportunities

I interned in heubach colours, bharuch and in indian rayon at Veraval. No profile or stipend is offered. There is no process for the internship. You have to personally arrange yourself for the internship.

Placement Experience

The chemical companies like saint gobain, rubamin, petronet Lng, Deepak phenolics etc visited. The most companies offered the profile of trainee engineer. The placement process is just like any other colleges. Writing test of technical knowledge and aptitude, group discussion (if company wants) and interview.

College Events

Campus Life is good. Our college organise various fests like technological fest, cultural events, fresher's party and sporting events. The technical fest is of state level. But the other events are only for college students. Yes students from all over the Gujarat takes part in the technical fest.

Campus Life

There are zero facilities for sports. No ground, only few equipments and no infrastructure for sports. The wifi is good and the overall connection speed is good. The library is okay types and there are few books for every subject. The labs in chemical department lacks good equipments and if there is any equipment it's either faulty or its non functional.

Hostel Facilities

No I didn't opted for the hostel.but I know about the hostel rooms and infrastructure as I have friends who opted for the hostel. The hostel rooms are on sharing basis of 3 students per room. The average rents of PG's are about 1400-1500 per month including the electricity bill.the hostel facility is avail on the basis of the merit.

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement
