The Best College By MP Govt

Just that many people don't know about its history and its glorious past. Also the faculty doesn't take any initiative to improve the status of the college.

I appeared for JEE-Mains 2016 and applied for it through MP BE DTE counseling. My AIR was 79k and I applied with Sainik Quota. I had read and heard about it from many people and that's why I had applied for its Mechanical Engineering.

The College is Autonomous and affiliated to RGPV Bhopal. The syllabus is updated and the course is recognized by AICTE. The curriculum is almost similar to the latest syllabus prescribed by AICTE. The course is duly recognized by AICTE and is up-to the latest syllabus.

No internship from the college, as it is an MP govt college. You would have to arrange for the internship by your side.

I have heard a lot about its mechanical engineering and of course about its placements. If you are a student of CSE, of course you would not have to fear about placement, but to find a good package is really a creative and hard working task. Major companies visit this college for recruiting their employees. But don''t expect a package of 20+ lacs.

The fee is feasible as compared to any college as this is a government engineering college. The fee has risen this year onwards and has become about 70 thousands per annum excluding the hostel and mess charges. The hostel and mess charges are also too feasible and a student from a mid class family can easily afford the fee.

The MP government has many programs for availing scholarships to the meritorious students of MP. Also at the time of counseling, you have the option to choose an option "Fee-Waiver". Is is for those who have an income of their family less than 6 lacs. You would have to just sign a self declaration form at the time of document verification, which is held after filling the form of mp dte BE Counseling.

Kabalpur Engineering College houses one of the oldest and the largest technical libraries in India having more than one lac ten thousand volumes of books on science and technology including physics, chemistry, mathematics, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, electronics and industrial engineering. The library also has books on humanities, competitive exam preparation, management and social sciences. The institute also subscribes to more than 23,000 journals and e-journals. The library has 40 computers and 2 servers for online access.

Hostel fees was 3000 for a year similarly mess charges were 1500 for a month. It was not much costly to live, also distance between college and hostel is walk able, no need to take transport, as this was the rate of 2013 year. This year, the costs and rents have risen but not out of control.

Alumni network is very communicative. Always take responsibility for your placement. Seniors were very helpful in terms of studies, friendship, life related issues. We were used to do parties enjoyment together. They were like elder siblings to us.

Exams were so exciting there, so concise well structured mind blowing. it was not so easy to clear the exam but if someone really studied good then it would not be that much tough for anyone. Exams are held every semester and the pattern is quite pleasant and supportive.

The faculty is helpful as I have heard from the recent pass outs of this college. Some say the faculty is not helpful in solving their problems but as I have seen it's not like that. The faculty is very supportive and of course they are not very punctual, as they are govt employees.
