I don't any bad experiences in my college, I would like to say I got so many good friends over there
Course Curriculum Overview
I did my MBA in marketing and finance, initially I was little scared of taking finance, once I get into it then I realised it was easy, it was more technical , I did courses on advanced Excel as well, I.learnt so many thing in that course, the faculties were very nice & having hell lot of knowledges, but they all were a very good human being
Placement Experience
I would say, placement was not that much good how they told before joining MBA, very few companies used to come for placement, but the job profile was not that much good
College Events
Like in each & every month , we used to have atleast one event, sometimes it crossed 2-3 also, technical event, cultural events everything used to happened in our college, I can remember once Katrina & Siddharth also came for the promotion of there film
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I was there in the college then fees was feaseable, now they increased the package also, when I did my MBA that time total semester fees were 5.32 lakhs, excluding examination fees, now it became almost 6 lakh, it would be good for students if they can reduce the semester fees
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I received scholarship while I was persuing my MBA from IEM . I Applied through merit come means scholarship portal & got it convective _ yrs
Campus Life
Students ration was 50:50 for boys and girls, the premises was very nice, we were having one volleyball court in our campus, so many cultural activities happened while I was doing my MBA, I used to participate in all of those almost, there are no religious biasness in the college , everyone traeted in the same mannet
Hostel Facilities
I never opted for hostel, u was staying in a pg since last 7 yrs, I would say it was a nice experience, rent was around 5k per month in Kolkata, The pg was located near chinarpark , new town area, they were always maintaining higene
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network happened, seniors used to come, that's how we got so many reference for campus placement of our college
Admission
1st I have give cat examination which was centralised in India, after getting the results of cat, I have applied in IEM, then after few days I got a call from management team, they called me for interview, two teacher of our college has taken my interview, soumik pal , it was a nice experience.
Faculty
Faculties a of there very qualified, most of them are pass-out either from IIT or IIMS, they taught us all the small trics for interview which helped us a lot, over all they were very helpful in each & all aspects, they never told us know when we asked for any kind of help
