Remarks
Good lab facility, Faculties are very helpful, if someone wants to study in physiology vidyasagar college would be best option under the colleges of CU, classes are very regular, lab environment is good lab staffs are very helpful. If you want to pursue your academic career in life science, physiology is a good subject to start with.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses were updated, no industrial exposure though, there wasn't any placement opportunity. Students who wish to be in academics are recommended to join this course. Faculties were very good also the Lab staff. Dr Alok sir & Dr Amitava Kha were very good faculty in the department.
Placement Experience
In the department of physiology there was not any placement opportunity. There was no placement cell. Most students pursue masters after completion of BSc degree. It was a major drawback of studying this course.
College Events
Campus life was good. In every February our college has festival named euphuism. It is a 3 day+night festival which includes technical competition, hackathon, robotic competition, singing, dancing, cultural events and dj nights and also with commercial singers being invited to perform. Excluding this many seminars is conducted with special guests from technology world. If we compare the size of the festival than its not that big which IIT's do but not that small too which other private colleges do. It can be called as average and one can enjoy and call it as a real festival.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is very good.classes, libraries, gyms, labs, canteens, halls, WiFi everything is very good. Library is on a different building and the size maybe 100ft×30ft. The academic building has 5 floors with around 50-60 rooms. Equipments in every labs is updated and has everything that one lab needs for a particular practical.
