Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is a UGC approved Private University in India.It was created by an act in the State of Karnataka, India and was established in December 2013. Good education and facilitates.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses and syllabus is more updates since college is autonomous university. Labs are equipped with latest hardware and software tools. Industrial exposure is good and we have business incubation centre also (KTech)

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Internship from IIT Guwahati.

Placement Experience

Placements are relatively good. Not the best. Feedback from placed students are good and have great alumni network and referrals. There are couple of startups incubated within and outside by the alumni.

College Events

Campus life is good. On-campus facilities like stationary, food are available. Hostels are very nearby and reachable. Yearly, several festivals are celebrated grandly and 2 college fests are conducted.

Campus Life

Sports centre having table tennis, carrom, chess etc and Gym, Library, Swayam learning centre with high speed internet, WiFi facilities are also available. Library is large and has several ebook facilities.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
