Every thing is good about it. It has been expanding recently, with addition of new courses and departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good faculty with a lot of experience. The atmosphere will give you an experience of activities apart from general studies. You can showcase your talents and pursue your passion at this college.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

I dont have much of an idea, I didn't sit for campus placements. .

College Events

The best college festival in the city is conducted by BGES College. Annual excursion, even foreign trips are arranged. Participation in all major college level competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive compared to other commerce colleges of the town. 5 times more fee than a Govt. owned commerce college in kolkata.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't. College do offer sports scholarship for anyone who has played district level sports.

Campus Life

Very chilled life, an equal number of male-female students, very encouraging for sports, fashion designing, music, dance, and related fields.

Hostel Facilities

No I didn't opt for hostel because there is no hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Admission

It was very simple, online form download and submission of the 12th mark sheet, got in the merit list.

Faculty

4.5

Very good faculty experienced profeesors. Most of them are members of the Calcutta University faculty. Practical knowledge will be given apart from theoretical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
