My College Review

The atmosphere in our college is good. Our college management is strict like we feel it as a school

Course curriculum is fine and relevent and exam structure is also good. But book learning is highly applicable in our college. Our faculty teaching is good. but the college is just like a school. Examinations are also conducted only from the questions thought by the faculty.

Placement in our college is on an average rate. We get nearly half of the students to get placed. And the highest package any student can avail is 6-7 lpa.

To mention Technical events code contests and quiz competitions are conducted in our branch. some 3 day workshops and few training sessions are also conducted. There are no cultural events in the past few years. And they are encouraged a little bit in this year. We now have a dance club in our college.

Our fee structure is 72000 for academics , 45000 for hostel/ 20,000 for transportation. We can pay the fee only through bank transfer or NEFT payment. Extra fee for sem exams, for trainings , for uniform etc are taken. At the time of admission an additional amount of Rs. 3000 is taken.

No, I didn't get a scholarship. But our college management let us know and made us apply for the reembursiment given by AP state government.

Gender ratio is 1:1 in our branch. We have less encouragement for extra curricular activities. There are a nominal number of labs but we are permitted only during the academic timetable. Sports are moderately encouraged. Competitions conducted in our branch are coding contests and quizzes and not more than that.

Yes. The hostel fees is 45000 for sharing rooms and each room is shared for 3-5 people. The rooms are ok. But the food is average. Hot water is not provided even during winter/ rainy season. No permission to go out will be given for an individual.

Of course yes. Our seniors are very helpful for us not only in the aspect of studies but also to cope with the outside world.

Written EAMCET and based on my ranking and my priority list of colleges given in counselling, I got seat in this college. The admission process is easy. We will have 2-3 chances to get a college seat i.e 2-3 times counselling and then we will be selected based on ranking.

There were around 150 staff in our college and only a few of them have completed Ph.D . Their knowledge is good but they just follow the academic syllabus rather than teaching out of it. We are given materials to prepare for the semester exams. If we ask doubts by ourselves our faculty clarifies those.
