Bridge between Human and Man

We had gala time in our college. It was a nice experience and made a lot of good friends. Though we had tough papers in accountancy but we learned how hard papers used to set which eventually helped in Board Exams which was quite easy for us to pass. So eventually my college helped me a lot for my future.

College is famous for Economics and University toppers.The cirriculum was university based only.The exam structure changes as per rules.There are industrial visits which are limited to BMS courses only.For other students there are NSS and NCC wing which helps to groom the child and also these provide visits.The college also has a student exchange program

There are various big 4 CA firms that come to the placement. Also helps to get into big four firms for Articleship. System followed is first we have to register ourselves with the campus placement cell with some nominal fees. Then they would be informing us about the date of interview. Interview process would be conducted in the college campus. Generally out of 100 people 30 -40 people are selected.The salaries offered were attractive for commerce graduates and were adequately meeting industry standards (approx 3 to 4.5 lac per annumt).

International Women's Week,FINACC 2019,Mathematrix 2019,enigma,etc There are so many events and the year is jam packed with in house events and also private companies having events .there are also guest lectures and training workshops by university of Mumbai and other agencies.

the fee structure is feasible. It is around 7000 p.a. it includes tution fees,ID charges,exam fees etc. College accepts fees through RTGS or NEFT. No additional fees are charged by the college for any other things. Except incase student wants to access the library books he/she has to pay nominal library fees around 200 rs.

I did not apply for loan or scholarship .But there are a number of banks which helps student for the same

Gender ratio is 50:50. Also the crowd at the college is great. There are no cases of bullying or ragging whatsover. The college is extremely disciplined at the same time friendly and warm. There are various fests like Moneta, Rapport, Enigma, Mathematrix. Moneta is a finance related fest where others pertain to extra curricular activities. All the fests are on large scale with huge companies as sponsors. Also celebrities participating for promotion of their films.

They are friendly. Once i needed a presentation file for project submission and could not get help online also that time my senior helped in my notes and exams.

I got into sports Quota as i was a national player in rifle shooting.The admission process is wholly based on merit for open category. You need to get above 90% to secure seat.There were three lists generated - and I was given admission to Podar College in the first list itself as my scores were above the first cut-off. admission to the degree college was also simple - whereby we were required to fill out physical forms and merit lists were generated in the same manner as above. The college is very friendly for post graduation courses and also it carries a brand and easy to reach for all staying in central, western or harbour

They are great specially the principal and faculty for accounts and economics.Faculties are supportive and friendly.The teaching faculty takes an extra effort for all students in teaching. Easy to reach to them for any sort of query. Also the paper set for examinations really tests your overall skills. Some of the profeesors are good and some are actually not interested much. There are some profeesor who are having industry expertise as well so that helps when they share there practical experience.The environment is overall good
