Remarks

It's NIT! (right after IITs), The time when i chose this it was on 15th rank in all Indian engineering colleges. And it was the best college in Gujarat & nearer from my home town than other good colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was good. We have one compulsory industrial training so we get enough r industrial exposure. Dr. Meghal Desai - probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. Then Dr. Chetan Patel, Dr. Jignasa Gohel were pretty good too.

Class Size: 86Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Campus Life

Sports facilities are average but they are improving it. I played volleyball for 3 years. WiFi is so good. All the hostels have good WiFi. Library is the best. Enough amount of books are available there. & staff is also supportive!

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good. For first year and second year two students share the room. In 3rd hear they can decide whether to share or not to share. In final year only single rooms. There are enough rooms so there won't be any need to go outside

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
