Remarks

Convenience, proximity, quality, infrastructure, scholarship programs, ease of access, good lecturers, experienced visiting faculty (industry profeesionals), new techniques of teaching- interactive, more than syllabus-based.

Course Curriculum Overview

Outdated syllabus, poor staffing at the University, prioritising marks not knowledge. Basic industrial exposure, no real field trips or industrial visits that could enhance the experience. All in-house faculty are good, same for the external faculty.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 82500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Freelancing at Logically India, video editing and blog writing. Created a website (https://awaaz.org). Freelance rates depending on time consumed.

College Events

Average. Nothing out of the ordinary. Don't get into multiple committees as you'll just waste your time. The t-shirt you get for being in the event is not worth it. Annoyingly enough, every division and every committee had their events.

Campus Life

No wifi, not even cell signals because they were blocked. Good luck calling someone from the inside of the campus. Sports facilities were cordoned off by sports committee. Others showed no real interest in playing sports. Library had all the essentials, everything you need and more. No gaming lab for us, only for engineering students (why even?).

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. Chose this college over the others because it feels safer here. No other colleges provided dual degrees. The faculty is known good for its teaching. The cultural activities are also known for its good. Got confirmed seat in hinduja but sies is cleaner whereas hinduja isnt. Sanitation is a top priority for girls,so didnt choose hinduja. Got rejected by mithibai college due to applying too late. Eligiblity criteria for admission is 12th pass from any board whereas cutoffs can be around 50-75%varying on the courses....Read More
