Remarks

The college management is friendly. They help you out in every problem with it Hesitation. The college overall is good if you love other activities along with Studies.

Entrance Preview

There was No entrance exam for B.com Stream,Just class 12 marks and a short Interview. I chose This college because it was onr of the Reputated college plus affordable and nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curricullum is good and the school faculty is Excellent.

Internships Opportunities

There is no Internship for B.Com but many seminars are Held in the college auditorium by outsiders.

College Events

Teachers Day,Independence Day,Saraswati Puja are some traditional festivals celebrated. College Fests like Umang,freshest Partyare also held. College Students Participates in them and Students are only allowed to Visit and see it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are affordable. Freeship also available. Fees have to be paid annually. First year fees is around 27000-30000. Second year fees is also the Same. Third year fee has a slight Increase of 2000-4000 Rs. We can Apply for Freeship if we want.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont know about the loan or scholarship facilities available or not. Freeship is Available to a Huge Extent. Prizes are also given to toppers and other good students in terms of cash,silver Coins etc.

Campus Life

This college is a master of extra curriculum activities. Take It from Sports like Cricket,Football,Basket Ball,Table Tennis,Pool to Dancing and Cookery. Every Thing Taught,inter college competition held.

Hostel Facilities

The college currently has no hostel facility. It has a Canteen though. Varities of food and cold drinks hot drinks are available. Average food,not too good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful,compared to Other college senior students. No Ragging is Allowed Here. They help us in studies and project works. They also act as a coach or teacher to Juniors during college fests and functions.

Exam Structure

Chilled out exams,not hectic ones,twice a year finals 1st Terms are easy will less Syllabus in all Subjects.

They teach you like you are in tuition classes and are very helpful. The lecturers and professorare helpful. They make us write notes and explain for betterment during exams. The college has a Library too.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
