Remarks

I have chosen this course because it has several opportunities in the future. The best thing about our course is it is easy to understand. Events and fests organised at our college are enjoyable. The campus crowd is at a great level. Campus surroundings have trees and natural air. The mechanical department arranged domestic and international-level site visits as per the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying mechanical engineering and passing in the year 2021. Academics are excellent, and faculty members are higher qualified and well-experienced. Teaching is unique. The curriculum is updated, and it is more than sufficient to get a job after the course completion. Last year means in 2019 College arranged an industrial Exposure to Dubai.

ICEM is the best known for placements. The placement management cell trains the student in all terms and ensures that every deserving student gets placed in one of the best companies. Top companies visit our college for placements. The maximum salary package offered is 9 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Computer Placement rate is High upto plus 90 % and mechanical branch placments is about 50% and package range upto 3.5 LPA to 9 LPA

College Events

Our college conducts many technical and non-technical events, sports and many more. Avishkar is a huge event organised by our college, which provides opportunities for students to show their talent in the form of singing, dancing and acting. Sports week is conducted where students participate in many indoor games like chess and carrom and outdoor sports like volleyball, basketball and many more

Campus Life

Indira College campus is excellent with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent infrastructure and facilities. There is efficient equipment in labs and workshops, well-furnished classrooms, seminar halls and auditorium with good visual and audio systems. Libraries have all the necessary facilities, and the sports centre of ICEM is the best. The hostel facility is available for boys and girls with excellent facilities like WIFI, Sports Equipments, Library, Cafeteria

Hostel Facilities

I opted Hostel for 1st and 2nd year year then i moved to PG because i done want to live in hostel but the facilities are very good given at hostel with 24*7 water, electricity and WIFI enabled, with gymnasium and sports equipments also. With good cafeteria and Mess food facility. hostel fees is 45,000 and Mess fees is 42,700 total anuual fees 87700

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

My Review on ICEM, Parandwadi, Pune.

I applied to this college only because it's cut off score for MHT-CET exam was near about my own score in the same exam, I was not eligible for any good colleges in Pune or Pimpri-Chinchwad limits. Frankly, there are no strong and good points to suggest this college to anyone. College is situated in Parandwadi village, from Pimpri the distance is 21 kms one side, the transport facility provided by the college is worst, the placement cell has given up on jobs related to Mechanical field, the college stresses more on submissions rather than actual Teaching-Learning process, many of the practical setups are under maintenance. Lastly, if you have to do Engineering anyhow, that too near Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities, then ICEM should be your last option....Read More

Since after completing my graduation from St. Mira's College, I started my preparation for CAT exam and had achieved 65 percentile in it.
