I took IIT JEE and scored 81 marks in it. The college has good reputation and placements so I chose to get admission in the college. I chose electronics and comm branch as it deals with both IT sector and electronic sector. I took admission through REAP-2016.

The course in the RTU is not with a point of view of research. The course seems to be irrelevant with respect to current scenario of technical development, as the the conventional methods which are not used anywhere now a days are taught and a good amount of time is dedicated to teach those subjects. Students can only opt desired branch, but the course for a specific branch is decided by the university and students have to study them, no choice is provided.

No. If it is provided I am unaware as I am a new student and I didn't bother to enquirer for it because i need internship in 3rd and 4th year.

Placement and job opportunities are very high. Many good companies of different sectors visit the college and recruit qualified and deserving candidates. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, WIPRO, Patni computers recruit more than or about 100 students each, every single year.

Many different events are celebrated. Each Wednesday two hours are dedicated to club activities. College has 21 different clubs and student can go in any one of them. Clubs are affiliated to different international collegiate clubs, and organised different activities every year.

The fee structire is not much expensive. There are 5% seats for girls, minorities and students from families having low income, in which they have to pay very less amount every year. I think it is feasible for a middle class family to pay the fees of a student.

No. College does not provide any such facility, but the university has allotted 5% seats to girls/minorities/student belonging to poor families in which they have to pay very less amount and the rest is waived for them.

Campus life is good there are competitions held approximately every week any of the student can participate in it. The number of girls is low as compared to number of boys. Hostlers and day scholars both can come in evening everyday and practice for different sports.

Hostel have accurate room size for a single student. Each room is allotted to a single student. I am a day scholar so i don't now much about mess facility and hostel facility. Hostlers access to wifi from 3 pm in the afternoon till early morning. But the amount of data is limited to 500 mb per day.

Seniors are helpful they help juniors whenever required in every possible manner. They share their experiences and tell us the do's and don't so that we don't get into problems and learn from their mistakes.

The schedule is very hectic. Each student have to complete diffrent assignments and files, from which they dont learn or remember any thing, just for a formality to get marks. students have lot of written work load and don't get proper time to study and sleep and cannot even think of chilling.

REAP is entrance process for RTU affiliated colleges. I first filled the form of REAP-2016 which asked for my details, marks in JEE Mains, std.XII&X, and then submited it with the fees. Then I had to fill a form which asked for my choice of college and branch, then from my chosen options I was alloted a seat in the college for which I qualified on the basis of my JEE(M) score. The notification is released in may every year.

Teachers of the institute are well qualified with a lot of knowledge but they are bound by the rules made by the university. Faculty only teach what is prescribed syllabus of the university and complete formality. They don't get proper time to teach the prescribed course properly so they can't afford to tell us things in more detail.
