Narne Prudhvi's Review On Amrita School Of Engineering - [ASE], Coimbatore

In IIT I score 136 marks but i am not qualified because in mathematics I got only 25 marks so I'm subject wise cut-off I am not qualified. I am very much interested in Aerospace engineering. I enquired about lot of colleges in that Amrita got 4 gate ranks in top 10 and it is globally no1 private university among India. So for my better future I chose Amrita college.

It is ossom. Some of My faculty members are worked at isro, some are worked as Head of the department in IIT's. All are PhD holders as well as highly experienced teachers. Our university brought a helicopter from Indian air force to explain us how it works in detail. They also brought a aircraft. They provide several labs for us to do research.

Internship is provided by my college. Here we have 2clubs from that clubs money will be provided by the college management as well as some core companies. Last year our seniors designed a race car with the coaboration with Maruti Suzuki company . For that our college got 1st prize. Another mega event is Anokha fest which is held on February or March. In that event lot of science experiments are present by the students of first year. Second to fourth years students do several workshops. For that fest our college invite guests from all over the country.

I our campus more than 100 companies are coming . Highest salary package is nearly more than 70lakhs average salary package is 25 lakhs. Some of the companies are: Google, Microsoft, Hp, Samsung, Lg, Isro, Drdo, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tifr, Bajaj, IBM, Bosh, Itc, Apple, Reliance e.t.c

Fee structure is 3lakhs per annum and it is feasible. Out of which 2 lakhs are for college fees fourth five thousand for mess fee, thirty five thousand for hostel and ten thousand for caution deposit which is refundable. I think this fee is sufficient because even in IIT's also they are charging more than three lakhs per annum.

No gender bias those who are interested can learn or can able to do workshops on their own. If we have any doubts we can able to contact our teachers at any time. No religious, regional disputes or bias in our campus. All are equally treated by our teachers.

All facilities are ossom hostel rooms are wide and has only 4 members per room. Hot water is provided for bath. Hot, cold, normal purified drinking water is provided. In mess all south Indian items are provided. Non veg is restricted. Several small practice grounds are there around my hostel. Gymnasiums are also provided with a tutor.

I am interacted very much with my seniors they are explaining each and every doubts they are guiding me a lot.

Exams are too strict. Papers also very tough to answer. Each and every question is based on theory those who can understand the theory can able to answer out of marks is impossible. No one can able to copy from others.for each bench only one student is stated. Exams are not only written but also oral . They ask us to perform tasks and ask us to explain why it is happening. Like that exams are conducted.

I got 2692 rank in Amrita entrance examination. Based on that rank I attended to councilling and at that time I apt my branch. Procedure is like this: On may 5th 2016 rank list is released in internet. After a week Councilling call letter is published in official website. My Councilling date is 14th June (second day of Councilling). On the dot of Councilling we reached the campus with my certificates. They provide shelter for us. Later my turn cames at 2 pm . The Councilling is based on rank . Those who got better rank will be in first. At the time of Councilling whatever branch you need we have to choose if there are seats. Like that I chose Aerospace branch. Later after 15days we came again to give original certificates and also to pay fee. I am a hosteller.

They are highly experienced faculty in our college. All are PhD holders . All are worked in many reputation companies. For each department that are minimum 50members. And maximum of300 members. They are very much interested as well as they encourage us to ask doubts. They tell doubts in any time.
