Remarks
The college gives you that exposure which no other college does be it brandwise, extracurricular or academics. Xavier's as a brand has been very famous and it stands to its name. There's a lot of fests organized by the college and it's one place for artists be it painting, acting, singing, sports, etc. this college pushes you if you have the talent or atleast have the potential. I've often heard abour Xavierites being active and being a part of St. Xavier's Loyola school, this college did attract me for the same reason which is the standard they keep and is consistent.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows some parts of the Gujarat University's syllabus but since it's Autonomous, they have their own syllabus and they go for quality over quantity. People learn a lot outside just textbook knowledge so that's one good thing. There's also a con that since it's still affiliated to the GU, there's some courses which are very general. Some of the facility are really good and helpful even after college hours. Academics is not one thing the college boasts about much but is pretty decent compared to the other colleges.
Placement Experience
Most of the students graduating from our college prefer Further education over job opportunities. Few of the companies are as follows TEACH FOR INDIA, Gandhi Fellowship Piramal Foundation,TCS.
College Events
Xavier's boasts when it comes to extra curricular studies through their wide range of fests from departmental, cultural, sports to youth fests. They also let students paint their walls with art every year as part of the cultural festival and encourage students take part in sports fests as well. Every student automatically gets keen to participate in these and the college is very active when it comes to these activities. The students are free to roam around campus and they're allowed till evening.
