I took SRM's own engineering entrance exam and i got 250 marks like some 9729 rank. I choosed Information technology because i had a interest in programming and computer science. Admission process depends on the counseling as per the rank achieved.

Course structure is good enough as for 1st year all branch have same subjects after that we need to study only it subjects. I choised cryptography, cloud computing, gernam language. There are many practical labs as well to get focus on research and at the end of course we need to submit a research based project.

They do not provide kind of internship we need to get the internship from outside on our own just we need to show the certificate given by the employer.

Placements and job opportunities are very very good as we have a option to go to the Chennai srm University as they use to call very reputed companies there and the packages offered is also very good. Companies visited are TCS, Wipro, Google, Facebook, Infosys, TechAspect, Accenture average salary is 3.50 lacs per annum.

Innovation day: on this day we used to present our innovations created throughout the year. Sports day: used to celebrate for 3 days in this so many students from different colleges use to participate. Rubaroo annual fest: this is the college annual fest in this all the activities like ramp walk solo, group dance and so many different kinds of events take place this use to celebrate 2 days and 2-3 celebrities yes to visit our college in this fest. Other fest are there like fresher party, fairwell party, vajra(only internal branch fest)

Fee structure is not so expensive as they use to take annual fee once in a year not like per semester but examination fee is not included in this. Examination fee we need to give every semester. 1st year fee is one lac sixty one thousand in which 1 lac fifty thousand is tuition fee and 10 thousand is books fee for 1 years and 1 thousand is the security fee which is refundable. 2nd - 4th year: each year we need to submit 150000 per year.

I do not availed any scholarship or loan facility but there is a scholarship given to students to study abroad in srm university.

Gender ratio is like 1000:850 (boys:girls) there are so many workshops like cisco security, programming hacking and so many according to the branch. Parties are only freshers and farewell party none other then this. Student from different states use to be a part of srm University and live peacefully and joyfully.

I would give 3 out of 5 as the food is average not good not poor, wifi speed is poor as the traffic is high rooms are minimum 2 sharing to 4 sharing. But 2 sharing rooms quality is good no stealing happen in hostel. Hostel fee is around 80000 per year inclusive of all.

Generally we do not have alumni meet for the senior as i also have completed more than 2 years but i never got any invitation for alumni meet so i have to say this is not helpful and network is also nit good.

Exam structure is like after the semester starts after completion of one month we have cycle test1 same for 2nd month cycle test2 after 3 month modal examination which are same like the semester exam but are internal other then this we have 2 surprise test for each subject for each semester. Practical labs are there every week but the schedule is not so hectic.

I got nine thousand seven hundred and twenty nine rank in srm engineering entrance exam and i got a counseling date according to my rank. I was called on the third day of counseling day and when i was called in a cabin a counselor was there to attend and he asked me about my interested branch so i told him that i have interest in Information technology branch of engineering and he asked me about my passion why i need to get this branch he also told me about other option for me but i was clear about my branch so he allotted me.

Faculty is also good as they have interest in all the topics need to be covered in the given classes and all are having good knowledge on their subject allotted all the faculty is minimum graduated in technical course or else Ph.D or post graduated. Like many of them are post graduated ( M.Tech, ms etc). The faculty which are graduated only like B.Tech there are assistance professor level.
