Remarks
I had heard a lot about this college. The faculty is very good. All the professors are very knowledgeable and are very supportive. This college is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh, so the syllabus covers all the major academic areas which a graduate student should know. Moreover, this college is in the heart of Chandigarh which makes it really accessible for the students living in the North Indian states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is knowledgeable and very supportive. The professors not only teach the syllabus, but also inculcate various moral values. The curriculum is very good. Various internships are organised so as to provide exposure to the students. Students are also taken on field trips to different plants and factories to get them acquainted with how things work in real world.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are really good. Almost 40-50 companies of various fields come for placement in the college every year. The placement rate is very high. All in all, the college provides high job and placement opportunities.
College Events
The college organises a college fest called 'Meraki' every year. It is a really big event. Various activities like debates, declamation, essay-writing competitions, quizzes etc.are organized at time to time. Even during the pandemic, various online competitions and webinar on subjects like economy, environment and politics have been held.
