Remarks

One of the better institutes in tier 2 colleges, high return on investment, known for its long legacy, good faculty, near to my residence. Opted for the general MBA course, so specializations will be in 2nd year, very low fees, great campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Updated course curriculum, industry interactions are scheduled every Saturday and Sunday, so there is a webinar/seminar on every weekend, Faculty is very experienced and extremely interactive, Prof Pooja Soni is a gold medalist in statistics and prof SK Chadha, who teaches marketing, has previously been the chairman

UBS has a long legacy of grooming industry leaders and many of the alums are in the top management of many big firms. Alumni base is very strong and helpful, most of the alums refer their companies for campus placements at UBS, the placement process is extremely structured with a hardworking Placecomm and a coordinator in form of a professor.

Campus life at Panjab University is very colourful and the fests are known for the large participation and the diversity of participants and cultures. Management fests at UBS almost a monthly thing, with some event, quiz or case competition happening almost every month.

Panjab University campus is huge, there are sports facilities, the campus is wifi enabled, all departments have their own library and the main library, Joshi library is extremely famous for its services and huge collection of books, all halls and seminars are fully equipped with all state of the art infrastructure

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects covered basics like programming, DBMS etc. which is useful in the beginning. But honestly, it's not enough for real - world jobs, so you have to learn extra on your own. Exams were regular and not too tough.

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

A genuine review by a genuine person whom you can relied upon.

A person needs to take the CAT entrance test and have graduated in any stream with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 45% for other categories. As there is no such cutoff for CAT. The admission process was simple firstly gdpi happened and then a personal interview. It takes admissions through CAT examination and GD+PI round.Applications starts from December and we have to provide documentation through mail, various types of reservations are their for eg ex-servicemen, rural area , single girl child etc which one can view on prospectus available online. The weightage of CAT percentile is more ,but students should also focus on Gd/pi because it really plays part in admission process,so after gd/pi students are assigned ranks and admission takes place accordingly.
