Remarks

It is the biggest agricurtural university. It has7219 acre of land for main campus. Its NIRF ranking is50. Itis recognised by UGC, AIU, ICAR. Itis the 4th best university by ICAR. Feesof my programme is very less.

Course Curriculum Overview

The university offers UG and PG courses. course corriculum is good. Field visit is arranged along with completing theory part. Teachersare helpful. They co-operate with student. Teachers arrange internship programme for students.

quite good placement. agriculture companies are interested in placement. almost every student got placent in agriculture sector, bankingsector. student are also placed inNABARD.

Wi-Fi facility is available. Studentenjoy the campus life as it is very clean. mess food is also very tasty and healthy. BestDNA sequencing machine. hostels are in good condition. Events are quite impressive. grounds are available for sports events. extracurricularactivities are very few.

Classroom are well equipped. There is a big library. Almos all basic facilities are provided by university. Campus has hostel facility. Sports facilities and canteen facilities are very good. onlynegative point is classrooms are far away from hostel.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
