Experience beyond boundaries.

The college management was extremely helpful in shaping our career well the college were run for charity purposes and that many students from villages were able to succeed in life after getting an admission here. Also we were able to connect with people of different culture after joining here.

TNEA. TamilNadu Engineering Admission is one of the Entrance examination to get admission in colleges in and around Tamil Nadu. This particular college located in Coimbatore is one of the best in Tamil Nadu and stands fourth in the ranking. We got some good experience and lots of memories to cherish through out the entire college life.

The courses were elaborate and upto the point. We were able to select the electives based on our project work in our final semester. Also we were encouraged to do more projects and in plant trainings during our curriculum. We were allowed to go to paper presentation to other colleges. Also we used to conduct department wise function here and lots of technical discussion and also paper presentation were. Conducted here.

It does not provide internship for UG. But for PG Internship is there and they 12000 a month for ME graduates. Also they will be made to teach some subjects to UG students which will help them in building a good Career at the later stage of their life.

Placements are excellent in GCT. The major recruiter are Ofcourse TCS. Whereas we get a lot of core companies like Robert Bosch, SAP, Zoho etc. Also we were allowed to have off campus placements with CIT and PSG college as well as the three college share a good rapport, all three of them combine and provide excellent job opportunity for all three of them.

We celebrate yearly function for all the departments separately this will help us in active participation as well conducting these events. Also there will be prizes based on our performance which will help us to outsmart each other and explore more. There are more events conducted externally l for enhancing our knowledge technically as well as improving our presentation skills.

The fee structure is very much feasible. Since it is an government college, most of our fee is taken by government. This puts us in an socially responsible place we should give something back to the society. Also the mess and hostel fees are so much feasible that everyone would like to stay within the hostel.

Scholarship is available through Alumni also we can get lots of scholarship from outside as well. Vijayalakshmi trust is one of the most popular charitable organization available in that area. Also we can avail some scholarship I we get good marks through principal's fund.

Campus is just wonderful there with full of green trees and beautiful peacocks also we have lots of extra curricular activities like Tamil Mandram or Debate Club, toastmasters, Tedx, GCT etc. The male to female ratio is also mostly equal there we have an very big ground where sports like football, volleyball cricket. Hockey are played. In addition to that we have got four shuttle courts and two table tennis courts.

The food quality is not that good. But we are free to go out and have food from outside if we want. But cooking is not allowed inside the campus. The mess food is great for breakfast. But lunch and dinner is not that good and could be managed outside for some days it is okay. Based on my input I would give 2/5.

Being an alumni member myself, we used to get lots of messages from college for the improvements done and what is required and that if we could help them in any way. Also it has helped us stay connected to each other with our batch mates and our friends or seniors or juniors.

Exams are made evenly out like they balance between theory and practical exams. Also they give out equal credits points between theory and practical all the semesters balancing out the four point papers and three point papers.Also in the final semester more credits are given to project work which will help us to boost our total aggregate and have an good final score . Since it is an autonomous institution, the papers are evaluated internally which will help us boost our score.

After completing my HSC examination and getting it's result. We will be provided with Cut Off marks based on our score in maths, physics and chemistry. Then we will have to apply for Anna University Counselling and based on our cut off we will be called for counselling and we can select the college of our choice based on the options available.

The faculty were all experienced and also since it is government college all the faculty had to go through lots of round of technical interview and written to get to the job. So they were all technically strong and Wer able to guide through all the difficulties we were facing during our course there.
