Remarks

The results of this college drove me to take up course in this college. The campus is also good. The students of passed out batches of this college also helped me by giving a good opinion about the college. The teaching and non-teaching staff is so helpful in any of our work.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was resourceful for the students to gain knowledge at their level. Even the industrial tour was helpful in gaining some knowledge to the extent. Every faculty was good enough to face any situation and also handle it.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Placement Experience

The job opportunities are through the job fair conducted by our college. The number of companies have registered and provided placements for the students passing out.

The campus life was a very good experience for the students. The cultural events and extracurricular activities made all the students to improve their abilities and specialise in it. There was active participation by the students in the cultural activities

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
