Remarks
The good thing is that it's an eco friendly campus as there are monkeys and black bucks living around us and they live in peace as no harm are done to them and this Diwali not even a single cracker was burst inside the campus to make a pollution free campus and to let the animals live in peace. And there are no bad remarks about the college management.
Entrance Preview
IIT JEE i scored 104 out of 372 and i chose this course because it's my passion and i like it since my 10 standard i made a target of getting into an IIT the premier engineering institute in india so i worked hard and the hard work payed off.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good .it's like the administration are trying to reduce the pressure on the students as much as possible and the course that i am getting here is planned in such a way that student can live up with and since i am a first year we don't have electives and I have no idea about the electives.
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college provide internship the companies that came are: GOOGLE, INFOSYS, ULTRATECH, And many more basically I don't know much about it but the package that they provide are quite astonishing so it's a very good platform for the students to showcast their potential in front of the whole world.
College Events
SHASTRA the biggest techfest in south india. SARRANG the biggest college music fest in India, SAMANAVAY the management fest and the grandest of all INTER IIT the participation is very large and all the college in Chennai region participate in these fests and the population during these fests increases by large amount as many people come to participate in these fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and interest free loans are being provided to students to provide financial assistance hostel fees-23750, Admission fee-2270 the fees varies with respect to the category of the student but the fees are feasible and no pressure is there for finance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Vidyalakhsmi loan that is the interest free loans only for the student of IIT. MCM scholarships are being provided as 1000 p.m which quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
Since i am a first year students I haven't got a chance to meet an alumni but the alumni network is quite large whenever there is a need of financial assistance the alumni's are open to help and donates as much as they can and even pays the fees of the students going for an exchange program abroad and the seniors are very friendly they try to help as much as they can never hesitate to help us.
Exam Structure
The first two or three months are quite chilled but after that when the end semester approaches it seem to be quite hectic but we as an engineering students has to tackle it with our own way . So basically it becomes a little bit hectic at the end but the rest are chilled.
Admission
The application form will be uploaded online on the JEE portal on the last week of November and the registration starts. After this the first phase of the exam will be on the first week of March which will be of 360 marks based on the cutoff marks you will be informed if I am eligible for the second phase of the exam I.e JEE ADVANCED After clearing this exam you will get the chance to opt for ure own choices after this there will be a counselling session and the seats will be allocated to the individuals.
Faculty
The faculty members are very qualified and are very enthusiastic about their profession . They are open minded and quite open with the students they take the students opinion and work in such a way that the teaching goes smooth with the students and they are very punctual about their classes which is a very good thing and students don't wanna miss Their class.
