Remarks

Excellent placement opportunities, outstanding curriculum, discipline among students, culture, Infrastructure, Good lab equipment, Importance to practical learning. Plesant Climate. Students get lots of opportunities for self improvement in the form of various teams, clubs, fests. All the fests are organised by students. Every aspect of the fest is handled by students. Students get exposure to various skills and talents.

Course Curriculum Overview

Sastra offers very good course curriculum. Faculty in SASTRA are very experienced in the domain they usually handle. They all are involved in various researches in various fields. There are professors handling state and central government sponsored projects too.

Placement Experience

Sastra students get lots of placements opportunities. Students are free to choose which company they wish to apply for provided they meet the criterion mentioned in the notification. Students once placed can also apply for various other companies only if the company they are applying for has a CTC of 1.5 times or greater than the one they are already placed with. We get opportunities in non technical roles also (companies come to recruit for content writing roles, sales roles, marketing roles.).

We have various departmental fests(Sankalp for SEEE, CAPE for chemical engineering.) One inter and intra College technical fest,DAKSH. One inter and intra College sports fest, Colosseum. One inter and intra College cultural fest, Kuruksastra. We have various clubs like Telugu literature club, malayalam literature club. for many languages. Also teams for photography lovers and many such. All these organised and maintained by students.

Campus Life

We have an indoor stadium and its name is Maruthi Indoor stadium. In that, we have a 4 badminton courts, one basket ball court, one floor gym, 1 billards court and 2 table tennis courts and also we can play many indoor games like chess, carroms. Other than this we have a 2 tennis courts (one for boys and the other for girls), one foot ball court, one hand ball court and a volley ball court. Wifi is free for all laptops (students have to register their laptops). No wifi for mobile phones.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
