Good place to gain Knowledge.

So far with my engagement toward college i never come across any bad remark. In-fact, it was good atmosphere and especially our college campus is good and best place to hangout finally i would thank my college giving us knowledge and best thing is that i really got few best friends which i never forget the college.

EMCET exam i attempted, I got almost 32k change rank and reason to join is i was looking for computer science or information technology stream. Vaagdevi college is available in IT stream.

It was very good ,Hope you know Our Stream It comes under computer science department with two streams included. We have good organism structure with Experience Hod and good faculty. Our group contains complete software languages like c , c++, java, software engineering and data ware housing etc.

I think no but we have tied with JNTU Internship called JKC. A team will train the students and will conduct the exam for the same and based upon the performance they use to provide the percentage which will help at the time of placements.

Our collage has placements Every year few companies will do the off-campus and also on-campus, Like satyam , infosys , birlsoft etc., But unfortunately at 2009 it was recession period very less placements and Job opportunities too. and even my collage placement officer will take initiative and get the companies for campus drive in our college i think birlasoft has conduct mega drive in our campus almost 150 students got selected.

Our college use to conduct some events. My first event was conducted by our seniors which nothing but freshers party. and next is association (departments) workshops. we will conduct for 2 days in second day we will have some cultural activities with songs,dances and dramas.

Our college fee they will charge according to government fee structure, At there time 2005 joining i have paid Rs.22500/ year for 4 years. Apart from that even our college have some management quot depends upon the branch rate follows, Bio-Tech, EEE, ECE and CSE has full demand and will charge accordingly like that.

Yes i believe, Some of my friends got scholarship not even from Government even from college as well the students who are performing well and financially back our college use to provide the scholarships and also will use them in lab purpose and give stipend too.

By the way thanks for this review am just recollecting the things what i and my friends done. Our campus with contains independent blocks for each department, our CS& It department block was newly constructed with good equipment's. Gender ratio its more or less its equal coming to my class its 2:1 ratio. We do have extracurricular activities every year our department will do . we have newly and sufficient lab equipment's, coming to sports we have cricket ground and in-door games as well. our college has not conducted any debates or etc.

At the time when i joined our college does not provide any hostel facilities for boys but it was their for girls. I joined in one hostel its near to warangal city and specialty this they will take only vaagdevi students in that hostel. Our hostel name is "Sri Santhoshimatha boys Hostel". Food was above average and advantage is that we will not carry lunch boxes our hostel warden will bring food to our college and we need to have small shutter and we will eat over there.and the rental they will charge for month Rs.1800/- per month which is reasonable.

I think we have alumni but unfortunately am not joined in that group due my un-availability so far even am not any updates on alumni get to gathers and my senior are very friendly of-course in 1st year for 1st month they tired to rag us but bad luck for them due to our college timings and restriction towards seniors.

Our exam structure is completely transparency, we have internal exams called mid exam will be Three times in semester and lab exams and external exams will conduct in our college itself. In anyway our college don't encourage mass copying or other unethical activities.

Firstly, I got seat in Kits(Warangal) civil but i was not interested to join in civil stream and in 3rd phase counseling luckily i got seat in vaagdevi engineering college(Information technology). This place is very connectivity from my hometown bellampally and also this college is established in 1990's. Even my seniors are also persued over there this make me to decide to opt this college. But finally my decision which i choose made me perfect.

Our college faculty is good and well experienced and minimum qualification for them is M.tech, I think in my entire 4 years of degree almost 955 lecturers are done with their master degree and even my Hod(Muthrunjai Sir)of computer science he is retired Hod from Kits warangal. and our goodluck he will take one class for 1st year and we are in. Most of the lecturers are friendly and any doudts related to subject or personally they use to guide us in right way.
