Remarks

First of all i joined here because it is near to my home and when compared to other colleges it has less fees and also within the city. I opted for this course because i always wanted to be a profeesional. And the best thing here is that the lecturers are also quite friendly with you and are also available to serve you with your doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is updated as its an university. Yeah. We had an industrial visit too. Faculties are good enough. As we don't get any study material from lecturers we need to go to libraries to get the materials. They have a updated library with all the study materials.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 47000 per year

College Events

The college conducts the management fest where all the other college students take part in it with different competitions. The fest is conducted for about 2 days. There will be the cultural events at the beginning of the fest.

Campus Life

Wifi facility is not yet available to college stidents as they are been locked. And probably the sports events also take place for those are willing. Some of them are volleyball, throw ball etc. This will be combined with the PG and UG students.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
