The UBS Chandigarh is best college in A india interms of Return On Investment where total expenditure of college is less than 1Lakh. Along with that Legacy of College, Excellent Faculty, Panjab University Campus, College ranking among Top 50 MBA colleges in India, Dedicated HR course availability, Strong Alumni Base made a strong case for selection of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall course structure is good. Enough emphasis is given on balanced kind of curriculum which is industry oriented. Regular Webinars of coveted people from industry are arranged to get insights from the industry and to foster industry - academia interaction. Among the faculties of HR Meenakshi Malhotra ma'am stands apart from others for her very insightful and interesting lectures.

UBS has student run Placement cell. It strives to bring best of the opportunities on the campus. Most of the students report being satisfied with job profiles after UBS. Various cells in the college make sure to keep us busy all the time. Business Cell being the most active cell on the campus. UBS being a government funded college has moderate infrastructure. But UBS benefits from the infrastructure of Panjab University which is excellent. Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

The subjects covered basics like programming, DBMS etc. which is useful in the beginning. But honestly, it's not enough for real - world jobs, so you have to learn extra on your own. Exams were regular and not too tough.

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

A genuine review by a genuine person whom you can relied upon.

A person needs to take the CAT entrance test and have graduated in any stream with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 45% for other categories. As there is no such cutoff for CAT. It takes admissions through CAT examination and GD+PI round.Applications starts from December and we have to provide documentation through mail, various types of reservations are their for eg ex-servicemen, rural area , single girl child etc which one can view on prospectus available online. The weightage of CAT percentile is more ,but students should also focus on Gd/pi because it really plays part in admission process,so after gd/pi students are assigned ranks and admission takes place accordingly.
