Faheem Ahmad's Review On Krishna Engineering College - [KEC], Ghaziabad

Krishna Engineering College is good Engineering College and has good reputation in UPTU affiliated colleges specially for CSE, IT branch. Management does not spends money until it is very necessary but it has been improving so it ok .

Took UPSEE for admission. And i Opted for Krishna Engineering College Because I had good reviews about this college in Computer Science Engineering. And I opted the same branch.

The course curriculum was good enough to meet UPTU examination requirement but it was unnecessarily lengthy and was not updated to the market demand. And passing UPTU exams was like get a quantum and your full semster course can be covered within in two days.

College did not provides internship and also does not allows to do so not even in 8th semester as per rules its a regular course 75% attendance is mandatory to appear in exams.

Placement opportunities for students with Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology is good but very poor for rest almost negligible for campus recruitment Daffodil Software Ltd - 3 LPA, IBS - 3 LPA, HCL -2.7 LPA for Joint Campus Sopara - 3.5 LPA, TCS - 3 LPA, Dell -3.5 LPA and many others with average package of 3.

There used be a annual Technical,cultural fest every year other college students were also welcomed for the event participation and prize for winners was also there which was attraction to every event. And freshers party to welcome freshers by nd year students to new comers and farewell party by third year students to final year students. Branch societies also took initiative for hosting events at branch level only specific branch students can participate. NSS camps for awareness of society and helping needy ones.

Don't know much but fee waiver seats are there which are allotted through UPSEE counselling only for rest contact college administration.

A good life at Krishna Engineering College. Have a mix balanced culture and diversity. People from all parts of UP and some parts of Delhi, Haryana and Bihar are here with all religious background which makes Krishna Engineering College culture plural and diverse for extracurricular activities sports day is there. for students a good equipped mechanical workshop is there. for robotics good labs are there students participates for car making and project under MSME are also built in this college by students which are government funded.

Hostels are awesome but with average mess food. There are single seater and three seater rooms with enough space. Separate hostels for freshers and seniors to avoid ragging. Security is also excellent . RO plant is there for drinking water. 24X7 Ambulance service and has area for playing cricket , basketball court and badminton court.

Seniors are helpful but college do not regularly conduct alumni meet so connecting to seniors are quite difficult. At personal level one has to make contact with seniors no involvement of college in this as no alumni meet.

Internal Exam structure was good and was not hectic and was very much dedicated for preparation of External Semester examination. Labs were very good can learn a lot but if you want no one was there to force you repeatedly. External Exam structure was quite predictable at least for scoring passing marks as questions repeat alternately and quantum was there to help you if have not prepared for full semester.

Through UPSEE counselling I was allotted this college then at admission cell in KEC Documents were submitted and I was told a particular date when our session will start and have to report on same date and that was all. No difficult process for admission.

Most of the faculties were highly qualified and had a good experience and were interested in teaching with all there efforts but some were just the opposite there used to be extra classes for weak students and if course is not completed then to complete that faculties were very supportive for academic help.
