Joytirmoy Nandi's Review On Alliance University, Bangalore

I had appeared for MAT and got 82 percentile as i had did my graduation form this college itself i chose to be here for my post graduation too.

The course curriculum is very good with a lot of focus on personality development along with the theoretical knowledge it used it was an enhancing and enriching experience as the college was mostly residential, which gave more opportunity to learn and grow.

The college has both internship programs and exchange programs with universities abroad at an extra cost.

The placements are a success story in this college. the opportunities are huge and the companies that visit are all market leaders in their fields for a fresher or for anybody with experience, it is good opportunity to have such options for placements.

There were various events celebrated at the campus. who can forget the 2011 icc cricket world cup final when the campus became wankhade stadium and alomst the whole college was enjoying the game together. dussehra, onam, pongal, all festivals were celebrated with equal joy.

The fee structure is a bit expensive just the tution fees for 2010-12 batch was 10lacs, but given the fact that the college was affiliated with the university status and the huge campus with all possible facilities within the campus infrastructure and the infrastructure itself was enough to be justified.

There are certain scholarships and loan facilities offered by the college, but i never availed any, so would not have the details of the same.

The campus life experience is awesome you would have to live and experience it to know about it may it be any seminars, sports events, retail fairs, festival celebrations, it is always gives a good experience and a lot of memories to take away in life.

The hostel facilities are excellent the design of the rooms, the space allocation, the bathroom sharing system, the furniture provided are all just superb the mess food, i would not rate it excellent but would rate it good and hygienic, though there was always option to have food from outside within the time limit.

The seniors were very helpful and provide us with equal opportunities or responsibilities when it came to anything.

The exam structure is based on semester system of 6 months. and the marking is a cgpa marking on 4.2, which is a bit complicated, but the type of training and education quality provide, it hardly mattered, as students cared more about the real life experience more than marks.

After clearing my MAT i applied for the MBA by filling up the admission form which is available at the campus, or in the city office, or online and appeared for the alliance aptitude test, once cleared, a panel interview happened and i got the admission.

The faculty was outstanding i was already a part of this college for my graduation, so i knew that the faculty here is excellent and the experience and knowledge that they have is outstanding, unparalleled to many other institutes they were like a family.
