Remarks

Good placement opportunities, crowd of my college is nice. Most of them are Sikhs. Nice canteen facility, good infrastructure, big seminar hall, Location is very nice here. Decent college for playing sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is nice, not very good (except some). Specialized faculty not available. Course curriculum is not up to date sometimes. There's always one PTM in each semester. PG also available near the college.

The placements in our college is not so nice. They are not quite well here. Each company will take two to three students only, that too with a low package.

College Events

Campus life is awesome in this college. There's a basketball court in college where all my friends hang up in my free time. Many fests are held in our college every year. Freshers' party is just awesome in our college. They welcome our college freshers very nicely. Many singers and actors visit in our fest every year.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there.
