Remarks

My senior brother suggested me that the college is good for Accountancy Honours. The fees are low and the transport facility is good. PG, Hostel etc are available near the college for students lodging.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers here are well experienced, and even private tuitions are provided by the professors. The teaching quality is decent, and important notes are provided easily. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready partially.

Placement Experience

As it is a government college, there is no placement cell. However, students in our college are taught how to score good marks. Moreover, after passing out, most of the students got a chance to get placed in FMCG companies and also in different private companies. It is the same case for internships. The best course offered in our college is B.Com (Honors) course.

College Events

There are no medical facilities in our college. Sports and games are conducted once in a year but on a huge scale. The quality of the food served in the canteen is decent, and the Wi-Fi facility is available only for members of the union. Classrooms are huge and are cool in the summer seasons of Kolkata. Our college has one of the huge libraries.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

A college with all the facilities.

Those nice college days

I had applied in many colleges and also got selected there but I chose city college for it's friendly atmosphere and supportive seniors. In order to eligible for pass course you need minimum 60percent for not put yourself in waiting list. If you score below this then there are chances that your name will be not in the first list. There are 2 or sometimes 3 lists are out for admission list. If you want to go with honours then you need 85 to 90 percent because seats are very limited...Read More
