Remarks

College management is slightly inefficient like every other government institution. But, our faculty members make life easier. Their support helps us get things done on time. Things will get better as we get our new campus with new recruitment at the clerical level.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE-B. Arch It is well within reach than NATA. Also, all SPAs take admission through it. Moreover, fees is way lesser than most of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is quite diverse. In the beginning, students are given an insight on basic design. After this gradually they are introduced to architectural designs at a conceptual level. Finally, from second year, people are introduced to mainstream architectural design.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Not like a provider but as a facilitator. We get reco letters from college which is usually enough along with the portfolio to get an internship anywhere.

Placement Experience

4

Every single student who has passed out of the institute is doing really well in country and abroad. Due to the general fact that architecture jobs are not that good after bachelors, people prefer to go for masters. However, it is very obvious that people are better of than other colleges.

College Events

4

There is no fest. We celebrate our annual day only where delegates come from different places. However, every single Indian festival is celebrated with great pomp and show. Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Eid, Janmashtami, New Year and also national event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very much feasible as compared to the private colleges. It is around 50k per year plus mess fees. However, infrastructure is not that good as compared to the fees. As there is no separate lecture halls and studios. Most lectures happen in studios only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans can be taken from banks. Also, reserved category students get scholarships from the government.

Campus Life

3

First of all, we have a leased campus. So, many things are not possible to be done. However, people are very enthusiastic about evry single event in college. So, it is never a bad experience for the new comers also. Mostly, girls are less in this college.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel are good nowadays though it is a leased one at the moment. However, the new hostel is scheduled to be competed next April. It is located far away from the campus. We have college buses. However, mess food is not that good and that is the case of every single hostel so no point in cribbing.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is really strong. People meet up whenever they are in the same city or so. Jobs and internships become easier.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is slightly difficult as there is no scope for supplementary in core subjects and people get a year back if the subject is neglected. However, the structure is potent enough to release the best students into the market. So, it is a so-so experience in this regard.

Admission

After AIEEE results, one has to report at the reporting centre, pay the advance for seat booking. After this, one has go to the college in person for admission. Its pretty much self explanatory thereafter. Also, the refund of advance is given after 2 months.

Faculty

3.5

The are really very supportive. They are never really reluctant to extend the extra few hours at the campus for the betterment of students. Most of them are very well qualified and have in depth knowledge about the subject. Also, they have good contacts outside which help students get jobs and internships easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I basically opted because it's no MPC tho there's a little maths it's still manageable because it is school level. It does prepare well for the real world but I wish it doesn't only stick traditionality but also international since graduated students can't directly intern in foreign countries unless they do masters over there. Design exams are 5hrs and others are 3hrs. You might find it difficult if you didn't do research on the respective topic otherwise you're always good to go. Frequency is moderate for exams. I wish faculty is kire about what to bring in a student rather than leaving us to figure out on our own and giving a hand full of time than less time and more work

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after they finish their 5th year or during the 10th semester. Students have to go on internships for one semester mandatorily in their fourth year which is the 7th semester for which they get stipend of around 10-15k for a duration of 6 months. The average package offered by the placements is somewhere around 3-4 lakhs per annum but then again is depends on the work of the student and their potential.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is robust, offering ample opportunities to enhance creativity and skills. While the teaching quality is mixed, it balances out during the overall evaluation process. Some instructors excel in their teaching methods, while others are satisfactory. Assessments are held twice per semester, with mid-term evaluations and end-of-semester examinations. However, the exam schedule can be challenging, as tests are frequently scheduled back-to-back.
