Entrance Preview

MH-CET , 176/200. I have choosen this college becoz this is very good medical institute in Maharashtra as well as I am much familiar with akola.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Actually when you are a medical undergraduate your knowledge is too much small . Becoz Medicine is vast knowledge field. Still our course contains subject like PSM which connects us with all walks of life. Also ICMR gives fair opportunity to focus on research feild but this opportunity depends on guide . If guide is proper then all can be done. But yet , I have no such experience of research.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship and approx Rs 6000 stipend is also there. As this field req practical experience so internship is must and compulsory in medical college.

College Events

4.5

Our college holds many exciting event like Ganesh Festival , Annual Gathering, Shiv Jayanti , as well as many Days are celebrated and we also arrange different awareness programs for rural peoples to improve their lifestyle on each possible occasions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of government medical college is not much expensive even today's farmer can afford it my annual fee of first yr was Rs. 12000 and now for second year it is just Rs. 1500. Also various scholarship and concession cover more .so govt college is not much expensive we have to manage only books expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year I avail PTC concession from education department i don't avail any type of scholarship but others do. I don't apply for any educational loan as there is no meed of it. GOVERNMENT take care of all you educational fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Gmc akola has very good campus except a garden and gym our college organize various events like sports competition of volleyball , badminton , cricket etc as well as debates , quizes and much more. Gender ratio is approx 1:1 in our college. In all above mentioned cases there is clean and peaceful environment at gmc akola.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Government hostels are not good particularly my room was not so good cleanliness is the big concern in my hostel we have to share our room with one or two other friends though government hostels are cheap in rent but their maintenance is not proper.

Alumni/Alumna

Gmc akola has very good Alumini. I personally know a cardiologist completed MBBS from gmc akola. He is much helpfull and polite in behavior. our seniors help us each and every time in studies . also wherever we get some problem other than studies they help us and be our support like family.

Admission

My admission is from CET quota so all process is govern by DMER a selection list is declared by DMER online i got this medical seat in first round. After the declaration of selection list I directly contact college complete some paper formalities and its done.

Faculty

4

Gmc akola has very good teacher staff. Our practical was much interesting all teachers are well qualified and experienced. We enjoy our practical and lecture with them. We are always more interested in our practical than lectures. Our college has well developed infrastructure to provide us all facilities.

I genuinely choosed this course to earn money. Even this course offers respect in society. And prepares well for the real world applications. In my college they use projector for teaching and not digital board. Exams conducted are very easy and not so strict.

I choose the course because I wanted to become doctors from most prestigious college of India. I didn't get seat in AIIMS Delhi so then I choose this college as it is near my home town. The students faculty ratio is 70:12. All the faculty are passed out doctors so they are highly qualified and they teach us in such a way that no need to ask for any doubts. The university conducts exams after every 3 months and we all have to work very hard to pass the exams.
