Remarks

College management and temple trust management that runs the college are very focused on building the student's personality and character and installing a strong value system in addition to paying attention to excellence in academics performance.

Entrance Preview

Got admission based on HSC score.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I selected Industrial Electronics as my area of specialization very few colleges in India had that specialization available the course began with basic knowledge of electronics this was followed by training on high power electronics, medical electronics and industrial control systems the course was one of the most advanced courses in India at that time Besides the course curriculum, the institute also focused on "Character Building" to create professionals with high ethical and moral standards, great value system in addition to high professional standards.

Placement Experience

4.5

Great placement opportunities. Many of the alumni are in the Indian Airforce as serving officers, many have joined the corporate world and are at VP / SVP positions. Some of the alumni opted to start their own businesses and are successfully running international businesses.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Reasonable fees compared to the facilities hostel accommodation is also good with reasonable charges good food free use of 8 books per student from the library in addition to regular borrowing of 2 books each time sports facilities are also included in the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not aware of any such facility, but the college has a tie-up with State Bank of India which has a branch on campus. They may be offering educational loans.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Excellent hostel facilities with twin sharing in the final year and triple sharing in the first 3 years great mess food with feasts held once every month. Insistance on ONLY VEGETERIAN food since the college belongs to a temple trust. Hostel charges were also reasonable considering the facilities provided. Separate hostels for boys and girls with adequate security force ensuring safety of students in hostel. Separate hostel for final year students to allow for focus on studies.

Alumni/Alumna

Online alumni portal to connect alumni across the years. Great alumni connct including a GRAND ALUMNI event every year with participation from over 1000 alumni every year. Great support from Alumni for placements and internships.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very demanding annual plan was laid out in such a way that students also got ample bandwidth for personality development and extra curricular activities. The labs, sports facilities and recreation facilities are of high standards.

Admission

Got admission based on HSC marks since those days we didn't need to go through entrance exams to get admission to engineering colleges.

Faculty

5

Highly qualified and experienced and dedicated to imparting their knowledge to students we even had a professor who left Bell Labs, USA to join the institute and teach us Computer Science one of the faculty has also moved on now to be an ad visor to the government of Maharashtra on electric supply planning for the state.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The creative assignments and learnings of how to think out of the box made me choose this course. The curriculum prepares us well and we learn how to move forward. but the real world is something which we learn only when we enter the field. The teaching methods can improve by introducing more practical engagements and field visits. Frequency of exams are not to much and exams are easy to clear.
