Remarks

MITM is one of the fastest emerging tech college near Mysore and Mandya. I chose MITM because of its transportation facility and high placement selection from renowned companies. The facilities and mentor provided to you is quite supportive and are ready to help you at any point in time.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have 8 subjects every semester. Managing syllabus isn't a rocket science here as far as you can find the pattern of previous years questions appeared and the important ones that the professor emphasizes on. You have a chance to judge the faculty members teaching on your own by watching the current semesters classes that were uploaded online(just search MITM classes in YT). Some excellent teaching faculties from my stream were Dr Deepu, Dr Murali, professor Shashi, professor Divya, professor, professor Anand, professor Prasanna, professor Ranjit, professor Deepthi, professor Sindhu and many more.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

There are many popular company that visits like Infosys, hp, LT, SAP, wipro, TCS and many others(CSE stream). The institute is known for high placement selections. You have to maintain a CGPA of 6+ and clear all the rounds like technical, aptitude, group discussion, HR round. then you get offer letter from the company. There are entrepreneurial cell to help you build startups. Alumni network is average I would say.

College Events

Campus Life has that mixed feeling. If you are looking for a college just to chill. I assure you this isn't the one you looking for. There are huge cultural and technical fests conducted every year. Mahadasara(cultural) and 24hr hackathon(technical). Students from nearby college visit and participate in the ongoing events. Campus Life

We have few theatre classrooms but for initial semester you all will be allotted usual classrooms. There is huge cafeteria (Lunch provided is 7/10). Snacks corner. ATM. Parking zone (But you can't carry your own vehicle with out permission). Large grounds for cricket and football. Basketball court. Auditoriums. LIBRARY and digital library. Well equipped labs(here I am speaking about CSE stream in specific). And many more.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
