Remarks
Nmims maintains it's same standard throughout all the campus and keeps the uniformity in maintaining it's infrastructure. Well-equipped AC classrooms along with sensor LED for the students to avoid usage of markers on whiteboard and utilize the features of the touch screen sensor TV. We have inverter along with proper safety standards in case of any emergency.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers are well qualified from reputed universities. Teachers are good but somewhere they lag in basics. I'm not referring to all. Course is good as it can save a year and gives an insight to MBA. They should focus on solving problems regarding software.
Placement Experience
Almost all students were placed on campus. Salary ranges from 6 lakh to 25 Lakh. Accenture and ICICI Bank are mass recruiters. Lots of reputed companies recruit from here. Roles vary based on the trade that the student has chosen. Companies do come for the management internship with stipend varying from nil to 75,000.
College Events
I chose this college because it bears an NMIMS tag. This is one of the leading business schools in the country. Focus on solving problems with software will improve the course. Events happen once a year. Most of the students belong to rich families. Lot of extra-curricular activities take place.
Campus Life
Classes are big, luminous and well ventilated. Wi-fi is accessible but YouTube and social media sites are accessible only after 6 PM. WhatsApp can't be accessed through wi-fi. Canteen and mess offer good food. Jain food is also available. Sports do take place but you need to carry your own equipments. Medical facilities are not good because the doctor doesn't seem to be experienced. And there is no full time doctor. Also, there is no lady doctor which is really bad because not all girls can be open to a male doctor. Outside hospitals also lack modern facilities.
