Vineet Pathak's Review On Institute Of Information Technology & Management - [IITM], New Delhi

I went for CET and scored 1215 rank and got selected in this college. I opted this college as it was nearby my brothers house and also West Delhi is always good to live.

Course structure was good. All the subjects were related to the area which I had interest in. During course time, I got interest in programming which lead me to chose this as my career path. And now I am working as a Software Architect in a reputed organization in Gurgaon.

No. There were no placements on college level. We had bad time if this thing was concerned. There was no Placement officer till our end of semester but later PO was hired, but didn't paid any of us as recession took place in the market too.

No one was placed through college. However, there were pool campus placements where we went and faced some interviews. There were around 10 candidates which cracked some interviews in those campus placements. I was unfortunately not one of them. We attended interviews with ACCENTURE and HCL.

My first ever discotheque party was organized by IITM itself. It was a freshers party and I still remember that feeling. Later on every year, the fresher party was organized by them and that was just awesome. Seminars, JAM sessions and events were part of the every semester.

I did not actually compared the IITM fee structure with rest of the colleges but as it was affiliated to IP university so the fee structure was quiet feasible. I paid the fee annually, in-fact first year fee was around 60,000, second year was 58,000/- and for third it was 55,000.

Candidly speaking, I was not aware of this whether the college had this facility or not. No body in my course had availed so that is why didn't asked this to faculty there.

I was not living in hostel as far as food was concerned, the cafeteria food was nice. It was available at anytime you want. We usually had Chinese and MAGGI there most of the time which was really nice to have. 3.5 out of 5 would be my rating on food.

Not at all. We hardly had interaction with our seniors. But when we were seniors, our juniors did not had this perception for us.

Exam structure was quiet cool. That was not at all hectec rather it was chilled out. We all missed one exam intentionally because that was a tough subject to prepare as there was no permanent faculty to it at that time. But the faculty was so cooperative, that we gave exam later and cleared with good marks.

I received a call from this college regarding the seat allocated to me in MCA course.I visited the college with my father, met one person (didn't remember the name now), paid the first semester fee and got the admission. The first day of my college, I sill remember that morning.

Faculty was good, cooperative and also very helpful sometimes. I had enjoyed interacting with them in my span of course. Specially the computer faculty was nice person. I was regular in attending the lectures there and got distinction in every semester in most of the subjects.
